Prohibition Signs
BS EN ISO 7010:2020 was developed to provide consistency in safety sign design across the UK and EU. By using ISO 7010 pictograms and symbols, our prohibition signs provide universal recognition - this means that a prohibition symbol in the UK will look the same as it would in all other European countries.
Prohibition signs advise viewers of actions which should not be carried out within specific areas. They incorporate a red circle with a diagonal red line through it and a black pictogram. Supplementary text must be white on a red background and must tell viewers what they should not do in order to stay safe.
